Time is designed to allow everyone to enter his or her own time sheet information on his or her own computer and to then generate analysis reports.
However, it can be used by an individual to enter someone else's time sheet information and, whilst this is not an efficient use of the system, this enables the system to be used by staff who do not have access to a computer.
You need to be designated as a Time Sheet Administrator in order to be able to use the reporting and authorisation options or to be able to select other members of staff's time sheets, this can be set in Staff Permissions within Global Settings.
There are some parameters that should be used to set how the timesheets work eg Work Stages and Timesheet options within Global Settings.
In particular you may want to set the Work Stages to be used and enforce their use. You may also want to set descriptions of work and enforce their use.
You can also choose to use time sheets with or without overtime columns.
When the time sheet is opened it will display your timesheet for the current week. The year and week number are displayed at the top of the form.
