Task features enable you to create and manage tasks. This can be used to create file notes, reminders, task lists, messages for other users, schedule tasks for yourself and other users and to delegate task list items.
If you are a task administrator (see Global Settings - Staff Permissions) you will be able to use the filter to view tasks for other users. If you are not a task administrator you can only see tasks that are for you are that you have created.
Tasks can be linked to documents from various Solution modules such as Documentation, Correspondence, Email etc.
An outstanding task is defined as a task which has not been completed.
My Current Tasks
This is the default view of the task list (the view when it is opened). It shows outstanding tasks for the current user.
All Tasks I Created
This displays current tasks created by the user.
My Completed Tasks
This option will display completed tasks that were created by the current user.
All Current Tasks
This option will display all non-completed tasks that were created by all users.
All Completed Tasks
This option will display all completed tasks that were created by all users.
Show All
This option will display all completed and non-completed tasks that were created by all users.
Filtering
Tasks can be filtered using the topmost row.
Synchronise Tasks
This will synchronise with Microsoft Outlook.
This will print the currently displayed task list.

To create a new task you can select the New button at the top of the form and open the Task form.

For
The name of the person the task is for.
% Complete
How much of the task is complete, selecting completed will mark the task as 100% complete.
Completed
Marks the task as completed.
Due Date
Date when the task is due to be completed.
Initials
The initials of the person creating the task and the date and time of creation are automatically entered.
Subject
Type the subject of the call. The subject can be up to 32,000 characters and new lines can be started by selecting the enter key.
Company and Contact Names
If the task relates to a contact, selecting from the drop down list can enter their details. This will act as a convenient reminder when completing the task
Project
A project number is also displayed, however, if this is not the project number that the call relates to then this should also be changed by using the drop down list and selecting from the list of projects.
It is a good idea to have a project number in your Project Register that is used when a project number is not known or is not relevant. This project can then be selected if the project number is not known.
Attachments
Add any number of files from the clip file list as attachments to the task.
