The Change Authorisation module is used to create and manage change authorisations. It can be used to print a Change Authorisation request ready for the signature of the Client and/or Project Manager and to record details of the change.

To create a new change authorisation you can select the New button at the top of the form and open the Change Authorisation form.


Complete the necessary fields.

File Reference

Select the file reference you want to use for the change authorisation. 

Originator

This is the originator of the change request. 

Authorisation/Change No.

Enter the reference number of the change request. Some organisations may have their own numbering system that you may wish to reference. The number can be any combination of characters.


Re

Enter the part of the project that the change request refers to. Anything entered here will become selectable for future entries.


Rate raised

Enter the date that the change request was raised.


Date approved

Enter the date that the change request was approved.

Requested By

Enter the name of the person requesting the change.

Subject

Enter a brief description of the subject of the change request.

Description of Change

When using the Change Authorisation form to enter the data you can enter a description of the requested change.

Latest Date for Authority to Proceed

Enter the date that the change authorisation is required by.

Costs

  • Enter the following costs resulting from the change in the relevant boxes provided.
  • Basic Construction Cost
  • Additional Preliminaries/Acceleration costs
  • Professional Fees
  • Sundry Costs
  • Total cost of change


Net Effect of Proposed Change

Enter here the effect on the contract (e.g. delays, change in completion date) caused by the change.

Anticipated Contract Completion Date

Enter the anticipated date that the job will be finished.

Signatures

Enter the names of the Client and/or the Project Manager who signed the Change Request.


Distribution

Select the names of the people (from the project distribution list) who should be issued with copies of the Change Authorisation.


Date received

Enter the date that the change request was received.


Notes

Enter any notes you wish to record about the change request.


Printing the Change Authorisation

Select the Print button on the Change Authorisation form to print the Change Authorisation
