The Notes module is designed to keep notes about a project. You may refer to these as file notes. They are often used to make notes about telephone conversations.
To open the Notes module, select the project number and then select the Note button from the main Dashboard.
The Project Notes Register for the project opens displaying a list of existing notes (if any). To open an existing note, double click on it in the list.

To create a new note, select the New button.

Enter note details as follows: -
Date
The current date is entered here. It is the date the note was created.
Time
The time the note was created is recorded here.
Contact
This is the name of a person that the note refers to (if any) and it should be selected using the drop down list from People.
Company
The company that the note refers to. This is entered automatically when the contact is selected above.
Note
Enter the note you want to record.
Category
Use this field to record whether the note is the result of a telephone conversation, meeting or an e-mail.
Created By
This field automatically records the initials of the user creating the note.
Attachment
You can attach a document to the note. A file of any type can be attached by selecting the browse button.
